Our flagship tour is designed to showcase three great breweries and three different stages in their journey. Different than our other tours as this one offers a full sit down lunch at our first stop.
Once we’ve finished the Casco Fiasco tour, we’ll drop you back off at Old Port Spirits and Cigars, where you can purchase some beer for later and continue your exploration of lively downtown Portland.
Full lunch (vegetarian option available) is provided on the Casco Fiasco tour. The lunch is ordered at arrival. The menu changes occasionally, but recent selections included these options:
- Soup and Salad – Bowl of the soup of the day and a garden salad.
- Margherita Wood-Fired Pizza – Extra virgin olive oil, oven-roasted tomatoes, house cheese blend, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil
- Pepperoni Wood-Fired Pizza – House tomato sauce, nitrate-free pepperoni, house cheese blend
- Pulled Chicken Sandwich – Asian BBQ sauce, sesame jicama slaw, grilled brioche (available without bread as a lettuce wrap)
- Tap House Burger – Short rib, brisket, and chuck blend beef patty, smoked cheddar, bibb lettuce, oven-roasted tomatoes, grilled brioche (available without bread as a lettuce wrap)

Founded in 1998, Sebago Brewing has become Maine’s premier contemporary American brewpub and one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the state.
With four pubs located throughout Southern Maine and an impressive brand new production facility in Gorham, they clearly demonstrate a refusal to stay with traditions that often can be found in a company with over 20 years in the business.
The 31,000 square foot brewery and a four-vessel, fully-automated, 40-barrel brewhouse more than doubles the size of the facility that had produced their beers for a dozen years. The need for this new modern brewery was made clear with amazing growth over the past several years of their year-round core beers, five seasonal beers and several highly anticipated, limited-edition Single Batch Series beers.
After working in the retail side of beer for over a decade, Tom Madden decided that the time was right to break into producing his own beer. A long-time home brewer and Certified Cicerone, he reconnected with his longtime friend John Paul who had been working in the music industry in California.
Together, they opened Lone Pine in March of 2016 in a former countertop production space in Portland’s East Bayside and quickly enjoyed tremendous success and popularity. In 2018, Lone Pine moved their brewery into the former Sebago Brewing brewing facility in Gorham which has increased their production volume by ten-fold. We will be visiting the new tasting room as well as taking a look at the new production space.
Longtime homebrewer John Bigelow wanted their company Yes Brewing to bring something unique to the area craft brewing scene. What if a small brewery could make small batches of typical styles, but then also use very unique ingredients to complement their beer?
After partnering with brothers Brady and Troy Frost, Westbrook’s second brewery opened their 2,400 square-foot facility in June of 2017. Quickly people have figured out that mint can exist in an IPA, and that jalapeño pale ale is actually pretty good. Check out how they are able to produce enough of their beer on a small system while sipping on one of their newest offerings.
